With the new Ibanez EWB basses, the EW series now covers practically every acoustic guitar need. EWB basses are available in both figured ash and cordia with 34-inch scale necks for clearer articulation than you get with the shorter scale necks found on most acoustic-electric basses. Exotic spalted maple wood makes each EWB20SMFE guitar unique in it’s own way, due to the process of which Ibanez gets such wood.

With its Advanced Jumbo body shape, select Spruce top, Mahogany body and Natural finish, the El Segundo-IV has a classic appearance and a superbly balanced raw tone. Then there’s the sheer comfort. With its medium-length 32 in. scale hard Maple neck and accommodating fretboard, both delicate and thumping basslines can be coaxed out with equal conviction.
